You can send it certified mail and you will at least then know it was recieved and when, but as far as whether they actually counted it or not, there is no way to say for sure. Hopefully you can trust your court house employees.The best you can do is send it and trust they will do the right thing. Some chance is better than none at all, which is what you would have if you didn't send it.
Hope you made the right choice, whoever you voted for. Same goes to my choice when I cast absentee next week. I would hate for another disappointment from either party.
