Academy Award Ballots

Victoria Said:

Academy Awards ballot question...?

We Answered:

There's nothing written in stone as to how many nominees will be chosen for each category. Academy members vote to nominate work based on their own specialties. Cinematographers nominate cinematographers and so on. It seems to be more tradition than anything else.

I think many awards are more sought after and that dictates why some awards have three nominees. The award for Best Animated Feature Film is certainly more prestigious than it was 8 years ago, but it is not on the level of the Best Original Screenplay Award. I do not see many animated films, but I do not know of any besides Bolt, Wall-E and Kung Fu Panda that many people felt should have been nominated.

Curtis Said:

What company has handled the balloting for the Academy Awards since 1935?

We Answered:

Original firm was Price Waterhouse, now Price Waterhouse Coopers

Michele Said:

"After Eight Years Of Incompetence, Neglect And Failure, We Need Change" Do you think this change will happen?

We Answered:

It cannot get much worse than Bush. It will take some real balls to change all the W admin has effed up, but i honestly think barack obama is our best bet. Actually, I think his youthful attitude and relative lack of experience make him ideal for change.
we were lied to by our president over and over again. bush has made our country look like fools by going into a war based on false information. I can't believe people are willing to elect someone who's going to keep sending young soldiers to die in iraq for no reason.
I'm voting for barack because I think he actually cares. He's smart. He's honest. that's more than anyone can say about Bush.
