Erica Said:
how would i? an arizona citizen get law or proposition on the ballot? We Answered:
You should call your state senator. They are your representative in the state legislature. part of their job is to see that your issues are represented.Heidi Said:
Do you think illegals who commit a felony should be denied bond?We Answered:

Arizona Proposition 105? Unreasonable?We Answered:
I agree. This one gets my vote for the "goofiest proposition of 2008" award. I don't see how this could be constitutional by any stretch of the imagination, even though I'm mildly sympathetic due to the sheer number of propositions on the ballot every election. Makes me wonder what legislators are paid for.Tara Said:
Why is there another gay marriage amendment proposition on the ballot in Arizona? We Answered:
Because conservatives don't like to lose and want to display their power. Personally I am sick and tired of other people deciding if I deserve rights or not.The proposition two years ago also banned any semblance of marriage, like civil unions or domestic partnership benefits. This got all the retirees in a tizzy since many of them choose not to marry in order to continue receiving death benefits from their former spouse.
This time its different. This time the proposition just repeats current state law: that no marriage other than one between a man and a woman shall be recognized.
This really is a waste of time, since the current law has already withstood a constitutional challenge. This is simply about negative people grasping for power on the backs of those they deem beneath them.

Should fundagelicals have the right to deny atheists the right to marry? We Answered:
wow i never thought of it like that you're right!!!!! you can't say that its wrong for gays not to have the title of marriage because of religious restrictions. when atheists or even agnostics technically aren't in the religion and still afforded the right. write your senator and get a ton of petition sighing and your could stuff prop 8 back down all the nay sayers throats.Yeah the whole thing really is religious and self rightous people needing something to damn unfortunately gay marriage is prevalent enough for them to waste the time and get out from behind their TVs and complain.

Did you vote?We Answered:
Yes, I voted on Tuesday... and no, I have never voted in mid-term elections before yesterday. Sadly, the first fourteen years of my adulthood, I was too lazy to vote. In fact, the last presidential election was the first time that I voted in my life; so therefore, I haven't had the opportunity to vote in a midterm election. The most influential reasons that I voted yesterday were the state amendments and bond issues. Sadly, I pretty much knew that my vote wouldn't really make a difference in the outcomes of the elections since the state that I live in is highly democratic.
