California Ballot Measures 2010
Tommy Said:
The discussion on WHEN to repeal prop 8 has been: either 2010 or 2012. Why rule out 2011?We Answered:
There are no regularly scheduled state-wide elections in 2011. Turnout will be much greater in 2010 (Governor's race) and 2012 (Presidential race). Special elections are extremely costly and turnout is very low.Sean Said:
Should California legalize marijuana for everybody not just medical patients? We Answered:
They should. They'd make more money off taxing it, and spend less pretending trying to stop it.Same way as cigarettes, cellophane pre-packaged amounts with a "tax" stamp to lessen smuggling.
Growers would have to sell to an auction house, and then to a distribution center, then to public stores.
Plenty of gravy for everybody.
edit:
Same rules as alcohol, age limit, no at school, work, driving (no open containers)... same/same.
Tracy Said:
Spiritually speaking, a R&S poll...?We Answered:
For. A lot of people in Texas support legalization so I feel we will in the coming years too. I don't really use it, but it's impractical to keep the biggest cash crop illicit.Susan Said:
Since Calderon opposes prop 19 in california would Obama now go after califonrnia if they pass?We Answered:
He's just mad because it takes the kick back money he gets from the cartels out of his pocket. Legallizing marijuana may increase usage, but it will be LEGAL and will not rely on ILLEGAL trafficing. Making it legal through out the US will all but eliminate that corner of the trafficing market.Wallace Said:
How is it that one of the tinhorn leaders of the country south of us - and he's no friend of the US can be so?We Answered:
D--n mexicans. They want it all six ways.If they stopped their citizens from coming into this country, they would have a much better workforce and maybe could solve a lot of their internal problems.
