Cast Their Ballots
Harvey Said:
why do people of U.S cast their ballots on election day?We Answered:
um, to voteSonia Said:
Who do the people of the US cast their ballots on election day?We Answered:
If you mean how people cast their ballots, it depends on the state. Most states now use electronic touch screen voting machines, but there are still a lot of states that do it the old way where you walk into a booth, close the curtain and use the old fasioned voting machines. After the elections, the Electoral College determines who wins. They almost always side with the popular vote. The Electoral College is a complicated thing, but most of the time it works well.
Cynthia Said:
Should the Super Delegates cast their ballots based upon the desires of voters or upon their own leanings? We Answered:
The Super Delegates were created because Democrats think of their own consituents as idiots, and as a failsafe check against their own enslaved, mind-numbed idiots, they wanted a way to override their stupid decisions. It's a pretty sad commentary on what they think of the people who elect them, and now it's exposed for everyone to see.Not that it will matter, though. They will override the will of their own voters and nothing will come of it. Democrat voters have been completely suckered by the rhetoric and they will never, ever vote for any other party.
It's like an abusive relationship. Democrats are the enablers of their own miseries.
For example... was there any hell to pay when Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid did NOT force a withdrawal from Iraq, even though they promised to do so IMMEDIATELY if they were given a majority? Not a peep. And Nancy and Harry knew it.
Democrats are completely obedient.
Earl Said:
For whom will the Clinton's cast their secret ballots for in November? We Answered:
without a doubt Hillary and Bill will vote for John McCainThey both want Hillary to run again in 2012. The only way that happens is if John McCain wins in Nov.
Paul Said:
Because many small stockholders do not cast their proxy ballots......?We Answered:
This is an essay question with lots of pros and cons--I'm not going to list them all, but will give my own opinion. As it turns out, corporations often sell stock with no voting rights, or with very limited rights (like Google). Apparently, investors still think such stocks are a good deal. As long as investors are informed, I think it's fine.
Others disagree because it might let the managers run the corporation with no owner oversight. I don't think that this is a big problem though.
