Election Ballot Paper

Debra Said:

In Mugabe's bizzare 1-candidate run-off election will the ballot paper say....?

We Answered:

I don't know Zimbabwean law, but since Mugabe forced his opponent out through violence and runs a totalitarian regime, I imagine he'll make sure that any election is run in a manner to ensure his victory. There's much less downside for him to rig the election now than there was when there was a chance of gaining legitimacy in the original election.

Mabel Said:

At the next UK general election would you consider spoiling your ballot paper as a protest?

We Answered:

I disagree with wiseman/guru. Spoiling your vote is a legitemate protest. Far less worthy is to do what many people do and simply not vote either out of apathy or because they don't like any of the candidates. An entire generation of men lost their lives fighting the Nazis for our freedom, and the right to vote. To say you can't be bothered voting is to piss on their sacrifice. If you don't like any of the candidates, make the effort to go to the polling station and spoil your ballot paper. You will have honoured the men who fought for your right to do so, whilst registering your own little protest at the poor choices available.

Shirley Said:

Can a magician change a ballot paper result in the general election?

We Answered:

Yes. They can vote.

Suzanne Said:

At the next General Election should the ballot paper show the candidates expenses ?

We Answered:

every mp's expenses should be printed in local newsppaers and websites so that we know who Our own local MP is claiming for

the next party political broadcast will be interesting

have they found the mole yet , someone somewhere is sweating

Michelle Said:
