Florida Primary Ballot

Edward Said:

Why did Dems remove their names from MI ballot, but not FL?

We Answered:

Because Lisa, due to the fact that Michigan went against the rules and moved their primary up in the schedule, the DNC punished them by saying that their delegates will neither be seated nor count at the convention.

In observance of the punishment, Edwards & Obama (Richardson no longer in it) removed their names from the ballot. Hillary however did not. Why is that?

What is left is to vote for either HIllary or 'uncommitted' and it is believed that later, the delegates will in fact be able to participate. The question is...who will those 'uncommitted' votes go towards? Its kind of like the dirty ace in someone's pocket.

Hope that helps.

Sharon Said:

Is anyone actually against giving some delegates back to Florida and Michigan?

We Answered:

I agree that Michigan is trickier, but the candidates who were not on the ballot (Obama and Edwards) CHOSE to take their names off of the ballot. D'oh?

Allison Said:

Florida fights over Primary dates & Democrats. Did u know? It could take Democrats completely off Nov ballot?

We Answered:

Each state has the right to determine when its primaries are held as well as how their electoral votes are distributed.

DNC is a large plantation run by rich people and organizations. when dems upset the apple cart the big wigs at the top get grumpy and threaten such things as to remove delegates. FYI. the dems will still blame bush and jeb for something or other. nothing new. they don't like to find fault with themselves nor can they admit it.

also your info is flawed. it would not "take dems off the November ballot" it would take the floriDUH votes from the NOMINATION for dem prez candidate.

Lucy Said:

FLORIDA Primary Ballot Constitutional Revision Concern?

We Answered:

Yes. Its a great revision, you can buy another home and get a credit in essense from the last homestead which increases your prinicipal on the new home, provided you homestead that home too, and you get an exemption for the contents of your home. Great incentive to continue to homestead.
