Clifton Said:
What is the practical impact of the Massachusetts ballot question #2 that decriminalizes marijuana possession? We Answered:
It applies ONLY to CRIMINAL sanctions for possession of LESS THAN ONE OUNCE. I doubt that anyone would grow less than one ounce. It does not apply at all to use or intoxicating effects. It seeks only to decriminalize the petty possessor. And jakflak is correct. If you are stopped by someone with Federal jurisdiction, you can still be charged with possession -- of ANY amount.

Massachusetts Ballot Question 3 on dog racing? We Answered:
As one who has adopted a retired racing greyhound, and as one who has personally visited the kennels, I support greyhound racing in Massachusetts.1. Massachusetts regulates greyhound racing to the Nth degree... Every aspect of the sport and the care and even the breeding of the dogs is controlled and monitored my the state police and the gaming commission.
2. It is against the law to euthanize a healthy greyhound in Massachusetts. A broken leg does NOT make the dog unhealthy. Only serious illnesses such as cancer etc where the dog is suffering can a it be put down.
3. Not only the 1000 + people employed by the tracks will lose their jobs, but the business around the track will be adversely effected as well.
On top of all this, those who are advocating the ban are part of a national political action committee and are paid over 100,000.00 per year! And they are using lies and distortions to manipulate people into voting for the ban.

How can you get a Statewide Poll on the election ballot in Massachusetts? We Answered:
Call your local election board, or whatever they call the body that runs elections there. Or, maybe easier, call your Representative's office. Even if they can't answer your question they should know precisely who you'd need to call.Good luck with the tax cuts and decriminalizing marijuana. (Don't know much about dog racing.)

Massachusetts Ballot Questions?We Answered:
Question #1: Voting "no".While I am certainly in favor of getting rid of waste in government, I am not sure if banning the income tax does this. I think you would find politicians protecting their nests and whacking $30,000 social workers. And the education system in Massachusetts is rated as one of the best in the nation.
If you want to ban a tax, I think a sales tax may be a better way. It still sends a message to Beacon Hill, doesn't remove quite as much revenue (at least I don't think it does), and make our stores more competitive with states like New Hampshire.
Question #2: Want a little more information, but leaning "no".
While I am not opposed to decriminalizing marijuana, I do not want to send a message that its ok to live your life stoned. If possession is to be punishable by a fine, then I want that fine to be substantial. . .say $1,000 per offense. From what I understand, the fine would be $100, which is a slap on the wrist.
Question #3- With all due respect to greyhounds, I don't think I could care less about this question. Will probably flip a coin at the polls for this one.
EDIT: Nice try back at you. . .

This site shows that Massachusetts is #1 in terms of its educational system as compared to other states. I'm also pretty confident you could find other sources that place Massachusetts either first or in the upper echelon.
Next time, try to know what you're talking about before you post.
RE-EDIT: I'm sorry. We're only second in this one.
