Minnesota Absentee Ballot
Johnnie Said:
What are your thoughts on the Minnesota Senate race?We Answered:
The fact is Coleman has been able to produce no evidence for his claims. That's why he keeps losing.Coleman's partisans have tried to claim that the state Canvassing Board is providing partisan support for Franken. But in fact, this board has one members who is a Democrat, 2 who are Republicans, one sitting judge elected in a non-partisan election, and one appointed by Jesse Ventura (Ind). And it has taken most decisions unanimously, not a single one I'm aware of on a party line vote.
The Minnesota Supreme Court is another venue where Coleman should do well. Out of 7 judges, Chief Justice Magnuson and Associate Justices G. Anderson, Gildea, and Dietzen (who worked as an attorney for the Pawlenty campaign) were appointed by Republican Governor Pawlenty. Justice Meyer was appointed by Ventura. Justice P. Anderson has no partisan background that I could find. Only one Justice, Justice Alan Page (the same Alan Page who is in the NFL Hall of Fame for his legendary career as a Vikings DL) has a record as a partisan Democrat. But this Court just yesterday unanimously rejected another frivolous Coleman claim.
Look at the answers alleging that Franken stole the election, and what you'll find consistently is no evidence. The best one can do is to point to a typically dishonest editorial from the Wall Street Journal, whose inaccuracies are discussed in the linked article.
Coleman has no case, no evidence, and no class.
"If you ask me what I would do, I would step back. I just think the need for the healing process is so important. The possibility of any change of this magnitude in the voting system we have is so remote, but that would be my judgment." Norm Coleman, November 5
Erik Said:
Do you think Minnesota's Sec'y of State acted in good faith when adding 15,000 absentees requested by Franken? We Answered:
NOFranken is STEALING the election.
Lance Said:
How do Republicans justify the actions of Norm Coleman in Minnesota? We Answered:
I'm in that district in Minnesota. my understanding is that the Minn. Supreme court can't recount anything, all they can do is determine if things were done right or that if things were done so wrong that everything has to be redone....I have heard that if they ruled in favor of Coleman it might be the beginning of a completely new election...if Coleman wins a ruling from the Court, it might be this fall until a senator is elected....Since the counting can't be considered to be biased without a whole new election costing millions, i see the Court letting the count stand....This is why coleman is a dinkKen Said:
Why is Al Freaken trying to disenfranchise voters? We Answered:
libs do that whenever they think it will help them.Jeff Said:
Will Al Franken win in Minnesota? We Answered:
I think it's pretty much over. We just have to wait and sit through appeals, but I doubt the courts will overturn anything. I believe that Franken will eventually be seated.
