The Wall Street Journal would be off base in claiming that this is federal territory should there be serious claims of fraud. As it does not involve a federal office (this is a state office only), the USDOJ would be overstepping its authority into what should be a state issue. As such, the Philly case is not an apples-to-apples comparison. An apples-to-apples comparison would be 2004 in Washington State (where the Republican led after the first two counts, but lost the third count and the election).

If this were a federal election, I would have agreed with you 100 percent.

That said, I do believe that the election will go to a recount, but I don't believe that evidence will emerge that the election was stolen either way.

Can you say: Acting Governor Richard Codey again until this mess is resolved? Polls show Chris Christie leading, but well within the margin of error.

The state is corrupt, I'll give you that.

Yes your vote will count. Your NJ ballot can be delivered to the County Clerk upto Nov. 3 (would have to be hand delivered on that date). If you mail it out tomorrow it will count.

I would urge you to NOT mail in your ballot - walk it in. 30% of all mailed in ballots historically are thrown out as ineligible for one reason or another.

Liberals and the White House will spin it and claim it means nothing. But you're right. There are some supposed "blue dog" Democrats who will be wondering which move will cost them and may start speaking out against the health care bill and radical government spending.
