Ohio Absentee Ballot
Laura Said:
why are there so many absentee ballots in the state of Ohio?We Answered:
Because people hope their votes will count more than with a machine since many are aware of the voting irregularites and fraud here in Ohio and they want a paper record of the vote (the papertrail on machines will NOT secure the vote despite what they tell you). They may have been one of the unfortunate ones to wait in 2-13 hour rainy lines in 2004 and don't want a repeat of that horror.Unfortunately, it is not a good idea to vote absentee. It should be outlawed. I once heard a speecher at a vote teach in who had run for elected office. He was greatly ahead in the polls yet lost the election. While at the board of elections, he started snoopping around when left alone and found several boxes full of envelopes with the voters address labels on and all contained black ballots. Why would all these people take the time to send in a blank ballot. Apparently they had switched the ballots. The longer votes are in the hands of people willing to be fraudulent, the more time they have to alter or loss your vote. If all is done election day, it is harder to do without making errrors (like in Ohio, one county the unknown 3rd parrty got more votes than Kerry..they messed that one up)..these messups are helpful in documenting fraud...when taken all together.
Some people probably found it more convenient to vote that way as well, but I dodn't recommend it. We need to call our representatives and ask them to cosign and support HB 6200 a bill that if passed will make all future presidential elections by hand counted and posted at the precinct and be on paper ballots. Voting this way is difficult to cheat when it is observed and locked, transparent ballot boxes are used.

Who pays for the return of absentee ballots? We Answered:
I'm not aware of any govt agency absorbing the costs of this other than overseas service members whose ballots are sent postage free through the APO/FPO system. At least they were up through 92 when I got out.Jessie Said:
Is Obama sending out bogus absentee ballot forms like the Mccain campaign is?We Answered:
Its not just the State of Ohio, but Michigan, Wisconsin, and Florida. My advice is to report to your local Register Office as soon as possible. Campaign rigging is against the law; and could have serious consequences against the McCain Campaign if proven his hand is directly tie into this illegal game.Beth Said:
Anyone get one of those absentee ballot registrations from the McCain's campaign? We Answered:

I cant remember if i registered to vote last year. is their a place i can find out?We Answered:
Did you vote in your last general election or special election called in your State? If not then go to your county courthouse and register to vote. If you did vote, then you don't need to register again.Kent Said:
