It couldn't be a simpler situation.

1) Zelaya was elected by the people in a democratic process
2) he wanted to stay in power longer than their Constitution mandated
3) when the military wouldn't support him in trying to "drum up the vote", he fired them
4) the military--loyal to the country of Honduras, not the leader--kicked him out of the country for trying to stage his own coup by strong-arming his way back into power.

Zelaya is out and he should stay out. The Honduran people have spoken.
