Because it puts the workers who don't want to unionize in a precarious position. The unionists threaten them into signing unionization cards. The people do this because the unions have a long history of using violence and intimidation on people, even now.

Because the union cannot win in secret ballots, the Dems are allowing them to strip away the working peoples' protections against union intimidation. It's too bad that Democrats are so much against the working people of America, selling them out to the unions.

You're wrong. They're not. It's still an option if the workers choose it. There is just a new option that is simply a card that's filled out and handed in.

It's there to eliminate the intimidation practices under the secret ballot method in which the company is allowed to talk to the workers as a group before the vote. Most of those meetings are used to threaten the workers with firings and company closings and all sorts of ill effects that will happen if the union is approved.
