SHOULD VOTES OF DEAD PEOPLE BE COUNTED ? Some US states count ballots no matter what happens to the voter.?We Answered:
Well what you are referring to is an extreme circumstance, although I believe that there have been citizens who have died just before the election took place. Its rare but I'm sure it happens. Anyway, I believe that if it happens just before the election the person should still have their vote counted. Sure the person is dead, but the person still casted a vote before he/she died. A person who is dead will never see the benefit of their contribution but the fact is, that their vote should count because it can change the course of the life that we live. So for instance, say a person votes in the general election, and a day later they are run over by a car. Their vote should count and I believe the state owes it to that citizen. Yes they are long gone, but the state should honor that citizen by letting the vote count because that citizen performed their civil duty. So honoring them by allowing that vote to be counted is the most patriotic and selfless thing you can do regarding the election process..Manuel Said:
