Voting Ballots For Kids

Morris Said:

did you make the biggest mistake of your life when you voted for obama?

We Answered:

You are too uninformed to vote. You have a single issue and vote on it alone without care for anything else. NO candidate could cut government spending in this economy.

Obama flat out said his policies will have to be delayed until the economy is back on it's feet.

Joan Said:

Have you ever seen small children casting their parents vote at the polls? i did last night...?

We Answered:

I did that when I was 10 during the bush/gore election. I was extremely curious as to what it was like to vote and I wouldn't stop nagging my parents so my dad said as long as I put the marks in the slots he wanted I could "help" him vote. For me it was a very interesting experience and I'd probably let my kid do that in the future if they wanted to

Thomas Said:

Would you elect me for president?

We Answered:

Obama!!!!!!!! If you vote for McCain, your going to be voting for a 2nd Bush people. Why don't you get that?

sure id vote for you..

Edwin Said:

Do you think candidates' names must be on a ballot when voting?

We Answered:

So the Dem leadership should stand behind their commitment to not allow delegates from FL and MI.

In MI if you wanted to vote for a candidate which wasn't on the ballott, then you cast a vote for uncomitted, sending an uncomitted delegate to the convention.

Stacey Said:

Does anyone else feel like I do: Throw out all the voting machines & hand-count the ballots like we used to?

We Answered:

Up here in Canada we still mark an X on a paper ballad and it works just fine for us, in fact I voted the day before yesterday in OUR national election for the first time and it was so easy, anyone could do it.. Technology screws up, votes can get lost and miscounted easily. There are some things we shouldn't take the risk in trusting technology for, our democracy is one of them!

And no, it doesn't take "days" to hand count votes, as some people have just stated. They count the votes as they come in, and it's hard if not impossible to rig because they keep a record of the papers people voted on, all together. Definitely more reliable than a computer file.

Oh and P.S. if terrorists decided to attack a power plant on election day then you wouldn't be able to vote. Think about that.
