Where To Vote

Howard Said:

Any ideas for a competition on Facebook where cutomers vote and win a prize ?

We Answered:

The most successful way I have seen/experienced is to have people share your facebook business page rather than to vote on something. For instance, you could do a competition where people share your business page on their own facebook wall, then come back and tell you what they shared or they can tag you in their update so that you are aware. This can qualify them for the drawing.

My friend owns her own cake making business and she has tripled her facebook fans by doing monthly competitions like this. It's easy for people to post on their own pages about it, and everyone wants free stuff.

Good luck!

Wanda Said:

If you where to vote now would you vote For Obama? And what about your congressmen and Senators?

We Answered:

Even though I have been a staunch Democrat in the past, I voted Democrat in the last election, with great reluctance. I was, and remain, a great Hillary Clinton supporter. If John McCain had selected anyone but Sarah Palin, he would have had my vote.
My Democratic congresswoman has not had a serious challenge in her now 21 years in the US House of Representatives.
Our state will have two elections for US Senate next year. Charles Schumer has done a fantastic job representing New York and was instrumental, as chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, in helping the Democrats to capture control of the US Senate. As for Hillary's replacement, Kirsten Gillebrand, I am not sold on her, and am disappointed that there will not be a Democratic primary to challenge her. NYC Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney has, seemingly, backed away from a challenge, as has Long Island Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy. So, I don't think I will support Kirsten to finish out Hillary's term. I may be voting Republican in this race.
The Democratic race for Governor may be interesting. I am hoping hat NY State Attorney General will challenge Governor David Paterson, whose recent poll numbers have been very anemic.
