Cheryl Said:
Why are some people against career politicians and incumbents, but they also criticize unqualified candidates? We Answered:
Ignore the Tea Party. They only want the "incumbents" out because the incumbents are Democrats. These teabaggers are the kind of people who watch Glenn Beck and take him seriously. Believe me, they're not worth associating with. Nobody would even know about them if it weren't for conservative media sources, like Fox News, shoving it down our throats each day.Don't get me wrong, I'm not crazy about the liberals either, because most career politicians have already sold their souls to corporate interests. Most level-headed people like you and I don't go out and form cult groups, like the teabaggers. I don't vote unless there's something worth voting for, so until Dennis Kucinich wins the Democratic primaries, you won't see me at the polls unless I'm burning a flag to the tunes of Rage Against the Machine, lol.
However, I do recall a "coffee party" that's forming. I'm not sure what they're all about, but I know it was formed as an alternative to the blatantly racist tea parties. I think they're more centrists, so you might want to look into their group. Me, I'm a loner, unless real change becomes evident. I haven't seen that yet, but I hope (as much as I doubt) to see it in the future.
Peace.
