I'd say for sure that Meg isnt a good choice. She claims that she's going to help california, but the money she's already spent (and slated to spend if she continues at this rate) could alleviate a LOT of the problems she claims she will. Plus, if she's so willing to throw money around like that just to get her name out there, what should make any of us think that she would actually do anything constructive with the budget.

Poizner isnt much better, he's just lower key. If I had to choose between those two, I'd choose Poizner.

As far as the Dems running, so far I've only really read about Peter Schurman, but he seems to have some good ideas. Albeit, some of them arent likely to work (like legalizing marijuana to tax and control it --- that's not for the state to decide, that's controlled by the DEA, which shows no fear in ransacking medicinal marijuana places *which is a topic decided on by state* so I'm not sure why they think that legalizing on the state level will cause any change). And I'm not sure how successful he'd be with getting a majority of those things done, but at least it's a plan (he outlines his plan on his website btw if you wanna check it out).

Jerry Brown is pretty popular because he's the only Dem running that actually holds a political possition. Most republicans are so against him that even if they hate Meg, they'd still vote for her over him, but that's about all I know about his campaign (I havent gotten around to reading about him yet).
