not even close. but historically, it was supposed to happen. what makes it weird it is after the 2008 election we expected something big to happen and it didn't. who turned out yesterday, turns out in every single election; what was missing was the mass civic participation of 2008.

after thinking about it, it's not that bad what happened during the midterms. it's a wake up call to all of us because we get the government we get the government we deserve. i say again, we get the government we deserve. if we don't care enough to tell the government what is then it we all pay for it: thanks a lot guys! if you cared anything about what is happening then you would do something about it, instead of going about your busy lives like you don't need to put anything into the place you live, you would take 20 minutes out of your day to vote, you would be helping the well being of all and not thinking that you don't count.

by the way, once our power is gone, it's just gone. and just so you know, if you sit on the sidelines voluntarily then don't cry in the beer when you had the power to stop it and didn't. like i said before sucks to be us.
