Nora Said:
Will the Tea Party Movement Help or Hurt Either Party in November with the Independent Voters? We Answered:
I think people in this country find it hard to live in the present & if they could do that they could see that all kinds of people want the country to be on edge. The truth is that the democrats are intelligent. The republicans have lots of nice people, they also have lots of crazy red-neck types, they also have people who just don't scratch the surface when it comes to thinking. There are fact checkers, There are all kinds of fast ways to communicate.
Bush gave reps. hope. Right wing media gives them hynosis. If you read the words from Palin's mouth you see the women has scrambled brains. She is no smarter than I am & I won't ever work for anyone other than my self anymore because my mind is too unfocused.
I am more intelligent than she is though. I would never do so many things she does but most importantly I know it would be insane if I took a job that ran anything other than my own life.
She is DANGEROUS. Just as Bush caused danger to the military & people in Katrina & other things such as the bridges that collapsed because of his refusal to use the already saved money to have this things worked on, which were scheduled to be worked on while Clinton was Pres.
Independents do nothing FOR this country. The use their position as a way to control others. I give no power to them. I really don't think they have any.
I think republicans are too dumb to accomplish anything anymore. Bush made them the party of people who were once not voters. They were the ones who really were like sheep following the flock begining with their churchs.
Now these people are a majority of the republican party & it has destroyed the party. As time goes on they will get crazier & the best ones will wake up & move out of the party.
Bill Clinton could pull them all over to a side he is on cause that man can do whatever he wants. He doesn't want it known now but he will let his secret out cause when he gets caught he likes that attention.
There is so much new that the republicans can not possibly keep up with. This is their downfall. Their backwardsness.
Allan Said:
What is being voted on in Oregon this November (I'm turning 18 this summer)? We Answered:
The entire US House of Representatives is up for re-election every two years. So that means all five districts of Oregon will elect an US Representative. Here are the district choices:1) 1st District
Rob Cornilles (Republican) v. David Wu (Democrat)
2) 2nd District
Joyce B. Segars (Democrat) v. Greg Walden (Republican)
3) 3rd District
Earl Blumenauer (Democrat) v. Delia Lopez (Republican) v. Michael Meo (Pacific Green Party)
4) 4th District
Peter DeFazio (Democrat) v. Art Robinson (Republican)
5) 5th District
Scott Bruun (Republican) v. Kurt Schrader (Democrat)
Also, Oregon has a US Senator election. You will decide a Senator from the following election: Marc Delpine (Libertarian) v. Jim Huffman (Republican) v. Ron Wyden (Democrat)
There is also a governor election between John Kitzhaber (Democrat) and Chris Dudley (Republican).
There is an election for half of Oregon's Senate, all of Oregon's House of Representatives, two seats on the Oregon Supreme Court, three seats on the Oregon Court of Appeals, many Circuit Court seats, and whatever your local government has elections for.
Terrance Said:
Republicans, why do things just keep getting worst for your party in the upcoming November election? We Answered:
We know now that the majority of tea-party activists are nothing more than disgruntled republicans looking for a new home. This will split the GOP and give the Dem's 4 more years in the White House. I believe that deep down, the sane ones in the movement, know that this troubled economy and unemployment was not caused by Obama. A third party, which I agree is desperately need, will shake things out. The hope and change idea was smart but needs to be delivered sooner than later.A third party can help deliver the goods.
