2010 Senate Candidates

Shawn Said:

What could hurt Tea Party-Endorsed Candidates chances of Taking the Senate/House in 2010?

We Answered:

Tea Party looks like it appeals to older white evangelist Christians. That is a pretty limited base for obtaining 25% of 300 million voters to support them. It is also unclear what government programs they would cut to achieve their goal of lower taxes and smaller government. Many in the groups I have seen look like they already receive benefits from programs like Social Security and Medicare and would not be willing to have those benefits cut or eliminated.

Bessie Said:

When Republicans take the House and Senate in 2010, and pass a Birth Certificate requirement bill...?

We Answered:

It wouldn't be constitutional, for a couple of reasons.

1. Each state gets to decide what information they require for citizenship at birth, and Article IV, Section 1 says that each state has to accept the records of other states. So if Hawaii says that their format of birth certificate is all they issue, then other states have to accept that.

2. The Constitution also states that the Electoral College and Congress get to qualify the Prez and VP as part of their process. Ballot access requirements are up to the states. So if a state says that to be on the ballot, a candidate has to prove citizenship by some method, that would probably pass muster. But Congress can't require it until presented with the candidates by the EC.

Scott Brown (R) 2010 Massachusetts senate candidate?

We Answered:

Gashupin01, doesnt know what hes talking about. He only repeats what he hears.I dont support Brown, hes just another smoke screen the republicans have put out there to try and fool the people into thinking the way they do.

Jared Said:

Is Harry Reid so desperate to remain in control of the senate that he is hiring fake tea party candidates?

We Answered:

Harry is very desperate in fact he is so desperate that rumor has it he has hired Rahm to recruit votes in the bath houses in Vegas

Good article as it shows how low one party will stoop

Cindy Said:

Are there any Kansas democrats running for congress or the senate in 2010? Or just all republicans?

We Answered:

I hope, for your sake, no Democrats run for office and they all relocate to Illinois. We can then build a fence around the state like the Israelis did for the Palestinians.

Jaime Said:

What do you think about candidates like Rand Paul and Peter Schiff for senate in 2010?

We Answered:

I think they are terrific, and obviously others do too, since they each have raised over a million dollars so far for their campaigns.

Last quarter Rand outraised the bank bailout candidate , Grayson, in Kentucky even though Grayson had a fundraiser put on for him by McConnell and 22 other GOP Senators, 17 of whom had voted for the bank bailouts.

Rand, like his father, was absolutely against bailouts of any kind.

Vickie Said:

Should Poopy Pants run as a GOP Senate Candidate in 2010?

We Answered:

Have you ever stopped to think that the GOP is legitimately against the democrats and the president. I mean, having a super majority and still not able to put your agenda through kind of spells out some problems with the propositions. Oh and a republican stealing Mass' senate seat is also a sign of what the people think of the democrats...

Just thought I'd shed some light.
