Arizona Republican Candidates

Kristen Said:

Were the republican presidential candidates educated in making their decision to support the war in Iraq?

We Answered:

Well Clinton started the war in Irag, had all documents to prove why Irag should be invaded, plus a lot of democrats stood behind him, that all Clinton said was true. So, either there was a need to go to Iraq or the Clintons and some choice democrats set Bush up, and the Clintons are very well know for this type thing. As for as them not readying the formal National Intelligence Estimate in advance, that is like signing a contract without reading the fine print, kind of dumb on their part. I think that is their excuse anyway.

Melvin Said:

Are homeless candidates a new Republican weapon to draw votes away from the Democrats?

We Answered:

This does not surprise me at all. I always expect them to come up with some down and dirty tricks to get their agenda in place. Many people seem to pride themselves with hypocritical negativity instead of taking the high road and being respectable.

Joe Said:

Ron Paul received more than the presumptive Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain from Arizona, Why?

We Answered:

because people are sick of corruption.

Kirk Said:

Why is Congressman Ron Paul not popular with the Republican Party?

We Answered:

Ron Paul is more of a libertarian. He is for drastically small government. Some republicans in government don't want small government, they are part of government. Others agree with Paul, but know if Ron Paul's ideas hit the mainstream, the guy is unelectable. I'm saying this and I agree 100% with Ron Paul. But you aren't going to win an election by telling people you are not only going to gut the military (which got him a lot of support last election,) but you are going to gut social security, gut the departments of education, housing, human services, medicare, etc. All this didn't come to light last election. To a lot of anti-Bush people, he was the republican who was against the war. I had to laugh at these fools who said, well If I can't vote for Ron Paul, I'll vote for Obama. Obama and Ron Paul are about as diametrically opposed to each other on the political spectrum as you can get.

Norma Said:

PLEASE HELP ME!! does anyone know when arizona's voting for a republican candidate and a democratic candidate?

We Answered:

Arizona is interesting to me. It votes on February 5th, as do Utah, Colorado, and California. It's a border state. It has a closed Republican primary, as does Florida, which means no independents or Democrats can vote in it.

All of these considerations favor Mitt Romney.

His numbers are rising in California, and undoubtably would continue to rise should he win in Florida. He has the support of Tom Tancredo, the popular Congressman from Colorado. He won Nevada by a very large margin. And Utah, of course, has a high population of Latter-day Saints (Mormons).

So does Arizona, in fact. It also holds a high number of Republicans who are actually dissatisfied with the way that John McCain has handled the illegal immigration issue. With Tancredo and Duncan Hunter out of the race, Romney is widely seen as the strongest candidate on this issue.

He has the demographics; he has the state "surrounded"; and should he defeat John McCain in Florida, he would have that elusive "electability" quality for which voters continue to grope. I think Mitt Romney should take Arizona on Super Tuesday. It would pay off in more than just delegates.
