Do you understand what the job of a Senator is? It is to represent the State, not the Party.

We are NOT a democracy!
We are a Republic.

Democracy............the citizens elect their President
Republic.................the States elect the President.

We are not one Federal State, we are 50 Sovereign States.
You are trying to count what each vote is worth, which is irrelevant. The larger States have more electoral votes, so it's even.

If you want to gripe about something, here's an idea. Our Constitution set up 1 representative for every 30, 000 citizens. In 1929 our benevolent Congress decided to water down our representation by limiting our representatives to the magic number 435. That now equates to roughly 1 representative for every 700,000 citizens. Now ask yourself why? With fewer rep's for the citizens, it gives the power to the incumbent and the lobbyist instead of the citizens. It would be impossible for special interest groups to lobby 10,000 rep's and get any meaningful cohesion.


Angel...people don't agree with you because they know we are a Republic and not a Democracy. Learn the difference. You seem to think a majority in a few States should rule over citizens of other States. This not a majority rule nation, we are a Constitutional Republic with the rule of law. Popular opinion is not always a good thing.

Reagan was a third rate actor who was a front for banksters and the military industrial complex. The goal of his supporters was to overturn all of FDR's policies, and to destroy the middle class. Bush has finally accomplished the mission. The GOP has been abandoned because the fake "family values" issues they used to cover their ultimate goals of making the rich richer has increasingly become anathema to the average American taxpayer.
