Please don't butcher Einstein's quote. You are not clever. Trickle-down economics falls under this category (also known as supply-side economics, which conservatives use to sell this faulty theory to people).

A lot of us are quite happy with the results, although I wish that Obama would stop trying to be this mediator between Republicans and Democrats. The Republican Party won't cooperate with us, why should we give anything back? In case you forgot, we've passed health care reform, and financial reform. What have you done? ...oh that's right, you are proudly the "party of no."

You are comparing something that shouldn't be compared. I'm happy to have voted for Obama, who happened to have a landslide victory. It wasn't just Democrats, it was everyone. Republicans are not out of the woods just because our country is having a tough time. We will not forget decades of failed Republican policies.

West Virginia is a very unique state. I think Byrd's involvement with the KKK was despicable, and most liberals would not support a candidate with that history. People can change though...
