Upcoming California election candidate pros and cons?

We Answered:

I am independent. I am liberal on some issues and conservative on other issues. I didn't vote for The Governator, but I think he's trying to do a good job.

But Meg Whitman sounds to me very much like Arnold did when he ran. She's running a very negative campaign. She's been caught in lies and just glosses over them--'Well you have to do that to get elected.' I think she has the wrong kind of experience to be governor of California, just as Arnold did. And I feel the same about Carly Fiorina. Both Whitman and Fiornia seem to see tax cuts for rich people as a panacea, a cure for all our problems including even budget problems. In the last 30 years we've had plenty of experience to disprove that idea.

I think Jerry Brown did a very good job as governor, and also as mayor of Oakland. I don't agree with him on ALL the issues but I think he's more honest than Ms. Whitman and has the interests of the people more at heart. I also think Barbara Boxer has done a good job for California. It's not about party (as it seems to be for most people), it's about the actual people.
