If you follow your principles and understand that your vote counts--simply don't worry about the polls and go and vote. If everyone in California does that--the polls don't matter--the count at the end of the night on Nov 2 is the only poll that matters--and that my friend is not done by a polling firm.

I guess it depends on what you'd call a medium sized city. The SF Bay Area is probably out, but there are a few smaller cities on the coast that are Republican. Santa Barbara is very nice.

Away from the coast, in the Central Valley, you have places like Stockton, Fresno, Modesto, Redding, Chowchilla, Bakersfield, Riverside. Not the best places to live, but you will be around your own kind.

Orange County actually is very conservative, and not too bad a place to live, all things considered.

The reality is finally dawning on them.

The were handed the opportunity of a lifetime, and they blew it.

Just like the GOP got the opportunity of a lifetime in 2000, and they blew it.

Here's hoping the age of the giant meltdowns is over, and the Republicans can go back to the traditions of Lincoln, Eisenhower, and Reagan, and LEAD a great nation.
