The author Richard Adams has written a very flawed article. Right off the bat he states two obvious misrepresentation of facts which renders the rest of his article slanted.1) QUOTE: "His name wasn't Joe." Fact: His full name is Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher. That is a long name. Many people pick a shortened version of their birth name. He could have picked "Sam". Joe is a lot easier to remember and pronounce then Mr. Wurzelbacher. In a deceptive kind of way, Richard Adams is correct, "Joe" does not appear on Mr. Wurzelbacher's birth certificate.

2) QUOTE: "He wasn't a plumber". Fact: He is/was a plumber's apprentice. Let's get technical here about the building trades. Joe was working under a licensed plumber. Joe was doing plumbing work and was working to obtain an actual plumbers license. In the real world when the "plumber" shows up to fix a leak, you call him a plumber. If Joe had professed himself to be an airline pilot or an auto mechanic, then that would have been a lie. In a deceptive kind of way, Richard Adams is correct, "Joe" was not a LICENSED plumber... yet.
Richard Adams.....YOU FAIL!
Richard Adams has made a lame attempt to discredit Joe the Plumber. That lame effort has thus discredited Richard Adams.
Who ever Joe the Plumber wants to support is his business. Richard Adam has discredited himself.
