Now that he is on the ballot, things are looking good for him.

The Republican vote is going to be split between Perry seeking reelection and Strayhorn running as a Republican-turned-independent, the Republican vote will be split.

The State of Texas is predominantly conservative, so liberals such as Democrats and Libertarians (sp) don't have much of a chance.

With the right-wing vote being split, and liberals not getting much as far as votes, that leaves the door wide open for Kinky to come out of this as a winner. People are tired and weary of 'business as ususal' in Texas politics and he stands a real chance. Kinky helped run the campaign to elect Jesse Ventura in Minnesota, so he has experience running for office in a sense.

I signed the petition to have him on the ballot. I feel that he would be far more beneficial to the state than another conservative or a left wing liberal.

Yes, Kinky has a chance. Vote for him. Why the hell not?

I agree with Kinky's honesty and straightforward approach, I certainly agree on his stance on immigration. Mexicans should stay in their country and bring it up instead of illegally entering mine and bringing it down. As is the truth about most depressed places on earth, be it Mexico, Central America, or Africa the problem is not locale but the people. Leaders are corrupt and the people too weak, lazy and/or stupid to change the situation.
Mr. Friedman’s approach and openness is a breath of fresh air in an arena of foul smelling flatulence.

New to me, I am white and have worked in a lot of factories. My parents also worked in factories as a lot of friends did also. I also worked with a lot of blacks ( about equal in #) . made a lot of friends and would do it again.
Who is Farouk Shami?Sorry just read he is running for govenor of Texas, I am glad I do not live there as I would not vote for him because of that comment.
I would also like to add, that most people do not want to work in factories because most do not pay well, and if you can get a better paying job , (black or white) go for it!
