Candidates For Senate

Lonnie Said:

Where can I compare Senate candidates Rep. Harry Reid & Sharron Angle so I can decide who I would vote for?

We Answered:

Let's put it this way. If Angle wins, the Republicans will need to lock her in a closet so she doesn't embarass them. As bad as the economy has been in Nevada, Reid is able to direct more money to the state than Angle ever could. I'd love to see another lead in the Senate, but it might be Reid again if he is elected. Don't know if Nevada politics is that sophisticated--most areas would rather just mislead you and sway you that way (all states, not just Nevada). Angle really wants a theocracy, as with many of the radical right running for office. Don't let her win (and I'm an evangelical Christian myself).

Arthur Said:

who are the Senate candidates for Pennsylvania?

We Answered:

Joe Sestak (D)
Congressman & Retired Navy Admiral
Pat Toomey (R)
Ex-Congressman, Club for Growth President, Businessman & '04 Candidate

Maurice Said:

Should sitting presidents be allowed to stump for House or Senate candidates?

We Answered:

No they shouldn't . Obama's getting paid to do a job not help his cronies get in office.I'd love to hear just how much of the taxpayers money was wasted on this latest trip.

Edward Said:

Where can I compare Senate candidates Dino Rossi and Sen. Patty Murray so I can decide who to vote for?

We Answered:

Again you can only vote in one state.

Carrie Said:

What are the basic plans/values for each of the Massachusetts senate candidates?

We Answered:

The decision will be made in the democratic primary. Neither republican has a chance to win the general election.

I am also registered as an independent. I endorse Alan Khazei, the founder of City Year.

So does general Wesley Clark: http://www.alanforsenate.com/page/s/clar…

Bill Clinton backs Coakley. I would settle for her.

Andre Said:

On the Florida Voters site, why are there only Republican candidates for Senate?

We Answered:

It is because Bill Nelson is the incumbent and is running unopposed for the Democratic nomination.

The winner of the Republican primary will face him in the general election.
