Both are farther to the left than even most of the other Democrats and both are vehemently opposed to the war in Iraq (I assume by narrowing it down to these two you must be opposed to the war as well). While neither has any serious chance to win their parties nomination voting for either in your state primary would send an important message to the main Democratic Candidates who still seem to waffle a bit on Iraq.

Sure, it's a great platform to run on, but do you ever see any of those white guys in Washington do anything about it . . . does Congress ever propose any legislation? Does the President ever address the issue?

Neither party wants Roe V. Wade overturned.
