Election 2008 Candidate

Freddie Said:

I am doing an assignment for school. Who is your favorite 2008 election candidate and why?

We Answered:

Barck Obama..He can bring the much needed CHANGE to the U.S. all the while HOPING his wife Michelle will keep her mouth shut.

Peter Said:

In the 2008 presidential election which candidate criticized the other for not wanting to stop campaigning?

We Answered:

When the economy went bad, John McCain stopped campaigning, or said he did, to go back to Washington to vote on the bailouts. Actually he was caught in a lie. He canceled his appearance on David Letterman, but the next day Letterman found out he McCain was still in NYC, appearing on another program on another network. McCain was embarrassed, he came on Letterman and said 'I screwed up'.

But I don't believe McCain ever criticized Obama for not dropping what he was doing and going back to Washington.

Brian Said:

Which candidate in the 2008 election will most benefit students?

We Answered:

for student-there is no doubt Obama

Angela Said:

Who do you feel is the better candidate for 2008 presidential election and why?

We Answered:

I hate to admit it, but, I am not very happy with either candidate. Obama is without a doubt the better speaker of the two, but I strongly disagree with his policies and the way he wants to lead, (or destroy) America. McCain is better in my mind for wanting to limit big government and stop all the wasteful spending the Democrats love to do. I also feel McCain will keep this country safer than Obama, not only with the terrorists who want to harm us, but also locally to keep small business alive without punishment from the government.
Obama has had the best speech writers and strategy throughout this campaign, especially with the media supporting him and not allowing anything negative to come out about his life and the people he associates with, and has been the best in delivering the message he wants to convey. However, he scares me to death. I am afraid his "change" is not in the best interest of this country.
McCain has proven to go against his own party to vote for things that he thought was in the best interest of this country and her people. That tells me he is not of the same old politics as we have known for so long. I only wish we had more to choose from in this election. But, in my mind, I voted for the lesser of the two evils. God Bless and keep America.

Benjamin Said:

Why are you supporting your candidate in the 2008 election?

We Answered:

Hillary or Mitt...i just want a moderate

Mario Said:

Who is your favorite candidate for the 2008 election?

We Answered:

Gov. Bill Richardson! Pro 2nd ammendment, anti war, against privatizing social security, REAL foreign policy experience, (ambassador to UN under President Clinton) currently Governor of New Mexico, FOR finding real solutions to the illegal immigration problem, the best of both worlds. I would happily support a Richardson/Obama ticket. I believe this would be a very unique combination for our country at a point in history when we really need it. (Obama having taught constitutional law)

Debbie Said:

Who Do You Think is the Most Moderate Candidate in the 2008 Election?

We Answered:

I'm supporting Ron Paul (he qualifies as a moderate on most Congressman rating systems). He's probably closest to the American people as he wants to make abortion and gay marriage into state issues, supports the 2nd amendment (over 70% of Americans now oppose gun control), opposes Iraq and has from the start (70% of the country now agrees), and is opposed to the IRS and Federal Reserve (who wouldn't like to get rid of inflation and the income tax, other than members of special interest groups?).

Ron Paul probably is closer to the American people than any other candidate, though he is no moderate (how can somebody be moderate in defending the Constitution?).
