Vivian Said:

What website provides the best source of information for this election?

We Answered:

Politico and factcheck are both great. You're on the right track. I recommend this for the real deal on attacks/rumors/statements.

Bryan Said:

Where can I get information on Election Day and our presidential canditates?

We Answered:

You can find profiles on each of their campaign websites (usually the candidate's surname2008.com). As for some interesting facts about Election 2008.

* Election 2008 will elect only the 43rd president of the United States (by comparsion the UK is on it's 57th parliament and 84th Prime Minister)

* The United States electorate (the number of people eligible to vote) is second only in size to India

* When people vote for a president, they are actually voting for a delegation who are pledged to vote for that candidate in the Electoral College in January 2009

Audrey Said:

Is Fox News a reliable source of truthful and accurate information on this election and the candidates?

We Answered:

When you ask if Fox is "a reliable source of truthful and accurate information," I would say that is barely a source of information at all. At best, we could discuss if Fox is balanced source of OPINION. And I think it is obvious it is not.

This is true of pretty much all the networks, although I do honestly think CNN presents a higher factual content than the others (whatever one may think of its opinions). Just as I think the New York Times and Wall Street Journal are primarly fact-based publications.

Discuss It!
