First of all, I think he's inoring the Rasmussen polls, as they lean right, though he might be looking at the trend over the last month with Rasmussen showing him with a 10 point gain over Rubio in that time (the strict results mean little in that poll, but the trend over time does). The other polls show the race as very close, probably within the margin of error, and that's before he even started running as an independent. So yes, he probably does think he can win.

I don't think he can, but he probably does. I'm hoping Crist and Rubio split the conservative vote and Meeks wins, but your polls suggest that would be a tough fight. I haven't seen any numbers on this race before.
