The presidental elections in 2000 and 2004 caused serious reporting problems for the major television networks? We Answered:
you are studying the impact of the media (tv especially) on the stolen election of 2000, when a talking head at FOX - a cousin of george w bush - declared florida for bush (despite the fact that the counting was not finished) which then panicked the other networks who jumped on the bush bandwagon.Bertha Said:

Why won't the media report the truth about the Michigan & Florida delegates? We Answered:
I saw Obama ads here in Florida. I don't need a source, I trust my own eyes and ears (I even heard "I"m Barack Obama and I approved this message" at the end and everything). Just because I didn't see any other candidates doesn't mean that they didn't air any, but it's funny that some claim they did without being able to provide any links or verifiable facts. As to the MI situation, here's a blurb from the source listed below:
"Five individuals connected to five different campaigns have confirmed -- but only under condition of anonymity -- that the situation that developed in connection with the Michigan ballot is not at all as it appears on the surface. The campaign for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, arguably fearing a poor showing in Michigan, reached out to the others with a desire of leaving New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton as the only candidate on the ballot. The hope was that such a move would provide one more political obstacle for the Clinton campaign to overcome in Iowa."
But judging from the other responses you've got here, it doesn't sound like Obama supporters are bothered by things like facts.
Edit: Dani, you proved my point about the facts thing. Hillary only showed up in Florida AFTER the primaries were over...to thank the million or so who voted for her. The only other time she set foot in the state was to do DNC fundraising, as Edwards and Obama did as well.
