Can a person legally donate to a campaign of a candidate in another state's elections? We Answered:
Yes. You can contribute up to $2,400 per candidate per election, even if they are out of state. There is a limit of $45,600 to candidates during a 2 year period. I'm not sure about your last question. There is an absolute limit on contributions and they aren't tax deductible.Jeff Said:
Why Are GOPs Endorsing Obama? We Answered:
Because he is the best candidate and now Scott McClellan, the former White House press secretary is voting for Obama too.Eduardo Said:
Eisenhower-Why was he chosen for the Presidency? We Answered:
Americans have repeatedly wanted Generals to become President, starting with the first President, followed by Andy Jackson, Wm Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, etc, etc...!Anyone who becomes a general actually has tremendous political experience! Military Officers are constantly called upon to resort to the kind of flattery and compromise that politicians use everyday!
Eisenhower had been dealing with Churchill and Roosevelt on a day-to-day basis, so he knew all about diplomacy. He also knew how to talk to groups of senior officers like fellow Generals and how to issue them orders, and yet he was still hugely popular among the enlisted men, too.
Eisenhower was wooed by BOTH political parties in America. Perhaps the only reason he chose the Republicans was that that was the party of U.S. Grant and Benjamin Harrison, two earlier General-Presidents!
