Know Your Candidates
Theodore Said:
Putting aside your party affiliation, be honest and tell who of the two candidates has more experience? We Answered:
McCain/Palin blow Obama/Biden out of the water on the experience issue. Both McCain and Palin have executive experience, the kind necessary to run the White House and the country. Obama has a little bit of legislative experience, Biden has quite a bit of legislative experience...but that's matched by McCain's years in the Senate.
As for good intentions versus experience....The old saying "crap in one hand and wish in the other" comes into play. All the good intentions Obama can come up with mean squat if he can't get them enacted. I think he'll be overwhelmed by the responsibilities of the Presidency (back to that "executive experience" thing), and won't be anywhere near as effective as he needs to be.
As for likability....both are fairly likeable. McCain's the type I'd invite over for a backyard barbeque, while Obama is the kind I'd invite over for a Superbowl party.

Your chance to spread the word about your candidates? We Answered:
Thank you for asking this question. I absolutely agree with you, I'm not a Bush fan but bashing him won't resolve anything. We need to focus on the issues, that's why I support Ron Paul. He is anti-war, wants to lower taxes for the middle class and poor, voted no against the Patriot Act, voted no against the amendment banning gay marriages. He believes the United States should have a non-interventionist foreign policy where we trade and negotiate with other countries instead of fighting useless wars where so many innocent people die. He wants to drastically reduce the debt the United States is in and restore our country to the democracy it once was. Finally we have a voice for the people. One that isn't backed by corporations and lobbyists. but by the people.. Ron Paul is a man of his word. Just check his track record. He knows where he stands on the issues, unlike other candidates whose stances seem to change from week to week. I truly believe he can boost the morale of this country and restore a democracy for the people not just for the elite...**How do I know my candidate won't back down.. His voting record speaks for itself.. Everything he states is consistent with it.. In fact he is the only republican that OPPOSED the war, he is a man of principal. I know many politicians make faulty claims and I have researched all the candidates.. this is the one I have found who has never switched his stance.. NOT EVEN ONCE!

What role will a candidate's truthfulness play in your decision to vote?We Answered:
Most politicians, by nature of the job, have mastered the art of doublespeak. There are those, however, who blatantly lie and then try to cover their remarks by saying they misspoke or "conveniently" forgot a point, etc. Looking at the politician and their background as a whole, I can usually form an opinion as to whether or not it's truth, doublespeak or an out-and-out lie.As with anyone else, I give candidates the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong.
While realizing that politicians are human like the rest of us, I still feel they should and must be held to a higher standard since their job is to represent we the people, both domestically and, in some cases, abroad. Those in authority, whether it be a politician, teacher, parent, etc., bear the responsibility to set a good example for the rest of society.
Kathryn Said:
Republican or Democrat do you really feel GREAT about your any of your candidates? We Answered:
I do feel really good about Obama. I think he is the cleanest, most honest canidate, and he would be a breath of fresh air in Washington.Danny Said:
Do you know where your candidates stand? We Answered:
I already looked at how Obama and McCain voted on everything. It is public record, so very easy to find.
