Well for the other statements made in response to the question stating that the Illegals should get the money back because they paid into it, that would be a very big misconception on their part. First, one of the biggest parts of the tax fraud besides the fact they stole someones social security number to begin with is the fact that they are taking advantage of a program called EITC with gives a lump payment at the end of the year for the dependents being that you are considered low income.

Also, there is the option to claim it on your check so instead of a payment at the end of the year it is credited on each check after deductions and with high amounts of dependents plus EITC a very low income person brings home a check larger than what was actually grossed and pays out virtually no taxes.

Lets not forget that years later when the IRS computer flags a discrepancy for whatever reason, they go after the original owner of the social security number and they are considered liable for any back taxes or over-payments.
