UK Atheists – Who will you vote for on the 12 June ?We Answered:
So, must've missed something, what's happening on June 12th? Because if it's an election there's been no canvassing round here.Jared Said:
Will the Eton old boys fix a Con-Lib Dem covernment? We Answered:
Same old elitist club, whose members are totally out of touch with the needs of ordinary people.Christian Said:
How hard is it to stand in a general election? We Answered:
difficult, but if you get out and actually speak to people then you have more of a chance. It depends on your policys...Claude Said:
are the lib.Dem's. fielding enough candidates to win enough seats to win the election? We Answered:
I'm pretty sure the LibDems field candidates in all the constituency, but the swing needed to elect them to government is so huge that it will never happen. Their best hope is for a hung parliament where they hold the balance of power. That way the LibDems get to dictate the legislation and nothing gets done. The message is clear, no matter who you vote for, get out there and vote for someone.Jennifer Said:
Of all the candidates as of now (Rep/Dem/Lib/Ind), who do you want to win the Presidential election? We Answered:
I'm voting for RON PAUL.On a short level... I just feel it's time to change our system in a MODERATE way, instead of these micro changes we've been seeing since the 1990's.
I love a lot of his ideas, and the ones I don't agree with completely... I just respect the man for sticking to his word, which is an honest trait that he's held for his WHOLE time in congress.
He's an economist, and wants to put value back into our very ill American Dollar (ultime LOW people)
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
---- At a time it seems all of our candidates are corrupted by *something, but it's hard to put our noses on it, because they hide it obviously. Ron Paul speaks from an honest man's shoes.
---- He actually has **IDEAS**.. something other candidates can't seem to put on the table.
I just want to add, that I also think that Obama is an overall good politician... but this is my answer to who we are going to use to stop Hillary from winning.

£200k fund for Lib-Dem ethnic minority candidates!!!??We Answered:
The most frightening part of the lib dem plan is the implication that the electorate choose who to vote for based on the colour of the candidates' skin. If such voting patterns exist in parts of the UK, then the entire principle of British democracy is in ruins. Election results would be determined by the concentration of certain races in certain areas, not by policies or democratic choice. The lib dems preach about liberty and freedom, but if they do this, they will be effectively buying votes and removing political choice.
