I'm not so sure on them actually buying votes but of course the usual side promises of support me and I'll do this w/o any real intention. Living in the Philippines as a foreigner I see a lot. I was in 2 different cities as Noynoy Aquino came through and besides the huge parade that was following him of enormous size you'd see tons of locals flock out to see him and applaud.... however when Villar came through that was hilarious, a small crowd of supporters likely from Manila (I live in Mindinao) and a bunch of local filipino's mocking him and asking how he's change things and what he'd go after Gloria Arroyo for with her corruption (keeping in mind he was on her side and her parties replacement for her).

We Answered:

It's an Obama phenomenon, I think. The most liberal member of the senate outflanked Hillary and force her to turn left. I don't really understand why or how the extreme left took hold of the party, but it's pushed me from good old DLC democrat to supporting the only moderate left in the contest.

Conservatives only win when they're on the ballot. Liberals only win when conservatives aren't on the ballot.
Consider the string of Presidential losers: McCain, Kerry, Gore . . . however far back you want to go - no conservatives. None.

Does this culture of entitlement still exist?

If not, what exactly has the Liberal Party done to address this problem within their party, to ensure that taxpayers are not swindled in the future?

They won't. Why would they waste their time trying to sway people who will never vote for them? I despise them, but they are at least getting that right. They are appealing to their base group and that's it. They aren't wasting time or money going after people who will never support them.

Huckabee is anything but a liberal. Rudy, McCain and that mormon are the liberals. He takes the Bible more seriously than any candidate from either party.
