It really depends on what state you live in, and what part of the state. If the polls show a landslide for one candidate and that state doesn't have many delegates you rarely see the candidates other than a TV commercial here and there. The "battle ground" states are the ones that see all the action - Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina,....and the big states like California and New York, those states with mega amounts of delegates are the ones the candidates challenge.

All politicians are greedy, corrupt scoundrels with no interest in helping no-one but themselves, they see us as a meal ticket and foolishly we let these rogues into positions of power, then we complain and whine when these people don't act on what they promised us when they were bullshitting us on our doorstep.

I would also think they are too scared to walk the streets with the amounts of Neds/Charva's or immigrants with criminal intentions roaming the streets looking for someone to rob/shoot or stab.
