Ma Election Candidates

Gary Said:

Where can I find a summary of the candidates running for election for today?

We Answered:

The newspaper remains an excellent source of news, and I would suggest for next year reading the newspaper as a primary source of news about candidates. Usually in the Sunday paper before an election is a summary of qualifications of voters, and often their response to some questions all candidates are asked. You will also usually find the newspaper's recommendation on candidates and issues.

Take that with a grain of salt, for the newspaper opinion is an opinion, sometimes based on selfish reasons.

Usually the opinion pages and the letters to the editor are best used for birdcage liner. You see a lot of rants and raves in what writers submit. TV is unfortunately either wacko right or wacko left.

An alternative source is unfortunately the internet. Today, most candidates have websites. Also, you can read other newspapers on line to see their opinions.

The caveat about the internet is evident. Stay away from opinions.

Republicans - if Brown wins in MA tomm., is this proof that conservative candidates can win?

If Brown can win in Mass that means the Democratic party is in deep kimchee. Everything is up for grabs.

Nathan Said:

Which (official and/or potential) presidential candidates in the U.S. Presidential Election had you heard of?

We Answered:

I understand the point of your question.
Americans are so badly informed that we vote for our presidents just like we would vote at a personality contest.
