No. They voted with their emotions, not their logic. American Republican voters have no unenviable wisdom. Most of them have no wisdom at all. All they've done is give Republicans the majority in the house who will do nothing. As they did when Bush was President and especially since Obama became President.

I haven't a clue what they think the Republicans will accomplish, other than keeping Congress in a "coma" for 2 years. In fact what they've done will remind Americans why they voted them out to begin with.

Two years from now Obama will be re-elected, as they have absolutely NO credible candidates for President, then 2 years after that, the Democrats will be in control of Congress again. It's nothing but a political game that Americans play every 4 years and every 6 years. If they think Obama did nothing the last 2 years, which is nothing but a bogus lie, wait until they see how much more nothing the Republicans will do.

Who knows?!?!?!?!?! However, I have read, the stock market in the 3rd year of a Presidential Term usually does well, for whatever that is worth :)
