If republicans could have their way with this, we would have been free to hand our money over to guys and girls on Wall Street who could have invested our money in no money down, No Doc negative amortization mortgages.Then they could have packaged these mortgages into bonds, had them rated AAA and sold them off to pension funds.
Then they could have bought Credit Default Swaps against the bonds they sold us and made a mint when they defaulted.
No thanks. I'll stick with the $780.00 per month I will start recieving in December.
