Once again, some -- including political candidates -- appear confused by the distinction between a political party and any religious affiliation.

I don't think there should ever be a stated link between a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian candidate and any religious ideology. It's inappropriate (like that insipid "faith-based" crap that's shoved onto US TAXPAYERS, and is clearly a violation of the separation of church and state).

I'm sure before the general election he will address the issue at hand. He has heard the American people scream"SEAL THE BORDERS FIRST" and that's what he intends to do. Right now he is meeting with world leaders instead of mayors performing Senatorial duties that his GOP nomination has afforded him to do. he is craftily looking presidential whilst the Democratic candidates look selfish. It is a means to an end. I'm positive McCain wishes not to snub anyone. At the moment he is extremely busy with an agenda to gather Intel to crush his opponent in November. Time is the most precious commodity McCain has right now. He must use it as wisely as he can. It would be very wise to address the concerns you present. Yet the concerns he is addressing right now may out weigh the Domestic problems their is not much he can currently do at the moment. I'm sure he has thousands of E-Mails such as these. He is only one man addressing a slew of problems. Many of these E-Mails can only be replied to by staff members. Maybe one of them dropped the ball.
