Like if you were doing a paper on ice cream and its history, you could do: Ice cream is a delectable desert that has an interesting history; it has a huge impact on society today and will continue to be found in freezers everywhere for years to come.

That would encompass paragraphs on ice cream's history, impact on society, and future.

I hope Noynoy Aquino will run for president, instead of Mar Roxas. I never considered Noynoy before, until I read a series of articles written by Conrado de Quiroz in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Now, I hope he runs, and wins.
