Presidential Elections 2008

Lillian Said:

Why are american so worried about the 2008 presidential elections?

We Answered:

This is a time for those who are looking for leadership other than the kind we currently have to be working towards electing a government that works for all people. I am working on a campaign for a candidate that is running for Attorney General in my state. He is one of Bush's cronies. Atty General in my state is such a powerful position that things can literally change overnight if the right person is elected. That reason among many others is why I have chosen to be a part of that campaign. I know what you mean about the way things are for the middle and lower class. I was making over 60k plus benefits and bonus in 2000 and now make less than 20k with no medical benefits. My lifestyle has had to change drastically and my quality of life has taken a nosedive literally. I hate living this way so I am committed to making a change in 2006 and 2008. Keep in mind that 2006 is just as important as 2008. If we dont change the Congress and the Senate we are sunk still.

Clifford Said:

The last two Presidential elections have had problems and disputes. Will problems will we see in 2008?

We Answered:

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Bush declares a state of emergency and cancels the elections.

Edna Said:

Who would MLK and Malcom X have voted in the 2008 presidential elections?

We Answered:

Martin Luther King said some terrible things about the Republican Party ...

for example:

"The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism. "

shows you things havent changed that much.

Stephanie Said:

Why do you think the dates for the primaries for the 2008 presidential elections have been moved up?

We Answered:

The party that does not occupy the White House has a great disadvantage when it comes to the nomination process.

The sitting President gets to campaign unopposed or only opposed by one other from his party.

Meanwhile the party trying to gain the White House may have ten or more individuals trying to vie for the nomination.

By moving the nomination process up, the party that does not occupy the White House can gain a clearer front runner and that individual can face off more directly against the sitting President.

This year is a special case. Neither party will have a sitting President. The advantage of moving up the Primaries in this case is for the two front runners to identify themselves earlier on, so they can face off against each other more directly. In this way, the voters will have a better comparison and contrast of the two individuals who will go on to gain their parties' nominations.

Jerry Said:

who are you gona vote for the presidential elections 2008?

We Answered:

I'll vote for the Republican Ticket to ensure America's safety.

Right now my best match on the candidate calculator is Mike Huckabee.

Try it and see who your best match is, it may not even be someone in the party that you traditionally vote within. It only takes a few minutes.

Angela Said:

Who will you vote for in the 2008 Presidential elections?

We Answered:

Don't you think this question might be better served if asked after the primary season in the spring...OF NEXT YEAR? Why don't we all try getting to know a candidate before we blurt out some name of someone we know very little about but who the press has been running stories on. There's a freaking idea, learn about the person you are voting for and maybe, just maybe we can put someone with some sort of leadership skills and intelligence into the oval office. Just a suggestion, no need to listen to me though. Go on making stupid choices of whomever the press tells you to vote for. Thanks and have a nice day.
