In my opinion, every news station lies.

Fox News is not a station that I enjoy watching because, even though I am a moderate conservative, they only promote conservatism. That isn't very appealing to me because I want to see the big picture. If the Democrats propose a good piece of legislation I will gladly support it, however Fox News would never report a story that makes the Democrats look good. Instead of looking at the health bill objectively, they throw around the word "Socialism," which is a joke.

However, MSNBC and CNN are just as guilty as Fox News about being very biased. I never see a conservative on Keith Olbermann's show to argue their point. All I see is anti-Bush and anti-Fox propaganda. The Pelosi health bill, although much needed, does have some parts to it that would be better if they were amended. The Republicans also had a bill floating in the House of Representatives that seemed like a pretty good proposal. Instead of reporting what the GOP had to say, MSNBC chose to completely ignore it and claim the Republicans offered no other option.

When we have news networks trying to pass on ideology nothing gets done. That is what is going on in our nation, and it is sad. Instead of looking at both sides and maybe trying to come up with an opinion somewhere in the middle, most Americans pick a side and fight for that side no matter what. That is bad for our nation. Now we are arguing emotion instead of logic. We need to stop voting in politicians who are loyal to their party first and loyal to their constituents second.

I went off on a bit of a tangent in the last paragraph, but I feel that the lies that are being reported by every news station are at fault for causing the polarity in our nation. Unfortunately every conservative who reads this answer will blast me as will every liberal because I spoke against their preferred "news" stations.

I'm not a Republican, but I certainly remember when Mitt was the "Liberal Republican" Governor of MA. Apparently a lot of Republicans remember that as well. He simply changed his opinions when he started campaigning for President. It takes a certain kind of sleazeball to do that.
