I don't think so. The Republican party has become the party of the tea-baggers, the birthers and the blithering idiots. The conservatives and any moderate Republicans seem to have moved on to the independents or to the Democratic party leaving us with a delusional, paranoid group led by Fox news and Rush Limbaugh. As they continue to purify their party into the most strident and the most delusional they will most likely become a minority, regional party.

The left needs an "enemy" and they feel the need to "take out the threat" by blaming such things on Palin and the Republican talking heads. People such as Olbermann and Maddow are on a "crusade" right now to brand Republicans as hate/fear mongers, when THEY are the ones who are ensighting an atmosphere of hate by pointing fingers at people who have nothing to do with this waste of human flesh's actions.
