Texas Candidates 2010

Gertrude Said:

Is Dem's Texas candidate for governor a rising star in his party since he said "white are unwilling to work"?

We Answered:

Don't worry we ARE winning the country over...Libs are on the way out!

Crystal Said:

Why are Tea Party candidates challenging Ron Paul? That doesn't make any sense?

We Answered:

Since the summer, the national Tea Party movement has become tuba players for the top guns in the Republican Party. What the tea leaders are going to find out is they have a place at the table through November and will then be given lip-service on issues - and expected to vote as instructed - like any group that doesn't have high-profile lobbyists trading freebies for legislation.

Randall Said:

Why is no one talking about a seccession possibility in Vermont like they did with Texas?

We Answered:

We did a little back when Bush was in office just to make a protest but Obama was tremendously popular in VT and still is. In my town he beat McCain with over 80% of the vote.

These folks are only running for office. In Texas, it was the governor who was talking about sessesion. They also have people running for office in Alaska doin' the same thing doncha know. Palin's husband was in the party.

Jorge Said:

Why do Democrat candidates flee when Obama comes to town?

We Answered:

Taint is hard to overcome.

Elaine Said:

Did you see wannabe Texas Gov Bill White's Emmy performance explaining why he won't go to an event with Obama?

We Answered:

I don't blame Mr. White for wanting to avoid being seen with Obama, either, especially if he wants to retain any chance of being elected for Governor. Right now, many Democrats are keeping as much distance between themselves and the President as possible.

Please please *please* tell me you aren't going to vote for Rick Perry. He is the *worst* choice we have for Governor, unless you *like* the idea of more toll roads in Texas being owned by foreign corporations.

Clayton Said:

Texans: Who are you supporting in the 2010 Governor Election?

We Answered:

Possibly Kay Bailey Hutchison. I say "possibly" because I want to do some more research on her. I have always liked her as a Senator, and I think she has a great chance of winning.

I don't like Perry's Trans-Corridor Tollway idea which would snatch up farmland from its owners without their consent, and I did not agree with his idea that would 'require' HPV vaccinations for underage girls. I think Perry has been under the radar too often. Has he really done much this entire time?

Kinky Friedman is a freak. I can't believe he had as many supporters as he did in 2006. I hate it when people like him try to run for political office. It is a mockery of our political system and of this country. The guy is an idiot. What is he famous for, anyway? If he won (God forbid), he would destroy this state. Most of the people who support him do it because he would legalize pot in Texas. Ugh.

Discuss It!
