I am a native Texan meaning I was born here and have lived here all my life. Native Texans count for about 1 in 10 people. The majority of the population are what we natives call "transplants". This goes for the majority of gays in Texas also. I guess my response would be if things are so bad they should "go home" (wherever that is). I have never felt oppressed as a lesbian in Texas. Dallas is home to the largest gay church in the world, Cathedral of Hope. There is a large gay community in most of the large cities in Texas and Dallas hosts a gay pride parade every year. I love it here and I'm not going anywhere.

I agree that the top Republicans really don't want a smaller government and are trying to use us patriots to pull themselves into power while destroying any real candidates like Debra Medina. Debra never said she was a 9/11 truther just that all of the information wasn't known yet and it isn't . Within an hour of her appearance on Beck’s show, robo-calls from the Perry and Hutchinson campaigns went out attacking Medina as a “9/11 truther”.
The entire argument of saying if you don't trust your government your nuts is really a lame attack.,


She still has my vote and Glenn can tongue Perry all he wants as long as he butts out of Texas politics.
